Brother Mel gave this message in tongues at the annualH.I.M. ministers convention. The message was interpreted by Dr. Larry Huggins of the Commonwealth of Christ ministry headquartered in Washington D. C.
This is a clip of the prophetic parable Brother Mel spoke out and acted out with the assistance of the Rev. Dean Remmers at the beginning of Mel's sermon, "Finding Your Place in Ministry." The entire service can be viewed in the video, "Finding Your Place in Ministry."
Brother Mel gives the first sentence of the utterance in other tongues, and interprets the sentence into English. Afterward, he gives the rest of the utterance via the gift of prophecy.
Brother Mel preached this message at the 2011 H.I.M. ministers conference. The service begins with Mel prophesying and acting out a prophetic parable with the assistance of the Rev. Dean Remmers. Mel gives the first sentence of the utterance through the gift of diverse kinds of tongues, and then interprets the message into English. Afterward, for the sake of brevity, Mel gives the rest of the utterance via the gift of prophecy.
Mel follows the parable with a sermon based on it entitled, "Finding Your Place in Ministry." At the conclusion, the Holy Spirit flows through other individuals.

At the beginning of Sister Elizabeth's May 2010 Holy Spirit meeting, Brother Mel was led to give the following message in tongues and to interpret it. In this recording you can hear the kind of reverential atmosphere in which the Holy Spirit manifests His gifts:
At the end of one of the services during the April 2010 annual convention of Helping Inspire Ministries (H.I.M.), Rev. Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan gives the following message in tongues, while pausing to give the audience instructions, then Brother Mel interprets the message in tongues. This is an example of a situation in which a message could be communicated in "another tongue," but which takes considerably more words in the English language to communicate that same message:
Brother Mel was prepared for prophetic ministry by Sister Goodwin in her final years. The Goodwins had sat in meetings by Smith Wigglesworth and had taught spiritual gifts and prophetic ministry to Kenneth Hagin, Sr. The Goodwins frequently spoke out messages in tongues, interpreted them, and acted out the gist of the message.
While this is an unusual manifestation of the Holy Spirit, it has clear Bible precedent. In Hosea 12:10 (Amplified Version) we read:
I have also spoken to [you by] the prophets, and I have multiplied visions [for you] and [have appealed to you] through parables acted out by the prophets.
In the New Testament, we have the example of Agabus acting out a prophecy he was giving to the Apostle Paul, in Acts 21:10,11:
And as we tarried there many days, there came down from Judaea a certain prophet, named Agabus.
And when he was come unto us, he took Paul's girdle, and bound his own hands and feet, and said, Thus saith the Holy Ghost, So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man that owneth this girdle, and shall deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.
From the time the prophet's anointing first came on Mel in 1989, to this day, he has found himself led numerous times to speak out and act out a message in tongues or in prophecy. The following is a video of Brother Mel acting out a prophetic word from the Lord. He begins in tongues and interpretation, and then speaks the rest of the word out through prophecy.
This prophecy was given under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit at the annual Helping Inspire Ministries convention in Tulsa, OK on April 24, 2009. The vessel the Lord used was Rev. Mel C. Montgomery. Music by Rev. Doyle Tucker, and Rev. Elizabeth Pruitt-Sloan. The prophecy comes just after "How Great Thou Art" concludes. After the prophecy is a spiritual song, given by the Holy Spirit at the moment for everyone's edification.
